What is the best time to visit Himachal?
March to June for pleasant weather, October to November for clear skies and good value, and December to February for snow. July to mid-September is the monsoon.
When and where does it snow in Himachal?
From December to February, most reliably at Solang Valley and Sissu near Manali, and at Kufri near Shimla; Shimla and Manali towns get snow in some winters. Snow is never guaranteed.
Has it snowed in Himachal yet this season?
Yes, up high. The first light snow of the season fell at Rohtang Pass on 6 October 2026 and around the Atal Tunnel on 7 October, while Manali town had rain. Solang Valley usually gets its first snow in December. We update this answer through the season.
Is November a good time for a Himachal trip?
Yes — it is the best-value month: clear Himalayan views, quiet roads and lower hotel rates. Nights in Manali are freezing, so pack warm. Snow is limited to the high slopes, and Rohtang usually closes for the winter during the month.

Yes, especially for snow — it usually reaches Solang Valley during December, and Kufri and Shimla in some years. Christmas to New Year is peak week and priced separately, so book by early November.

Is it better to go by Volvo or private car?
Both work well. The overnight Volvo saves days and money for couples and short trips; a private car suits families and groups who want to stop along the way. We run packages both ways.
Do you run Himachal tours from Chandigarh?
Yes. Our Shimla Manali, Shimla honeymoon, Manali honeymoon and Grand Himachal packages start from Delhi or Chandigarh, and we pick up from Chandigarh airport or station.
Is Rohtang Pass included?
Rohtang can be visited from Manali when open, usually from around May to November, by local cab with a permit. The permit and cab charges are not included. The Atal Tunnel and Sissu are on our Manali itineraries, subject to weather.
Which place is called the Mini Switzerland of India?
Khajjiar, near Dalhousie in Chamba district — a meadow ringed by deodar forest with a small lake. It is on our Dharamshala Dalhousie and Grand Himachal tours.

Are meals included?
Yes — breakfast and dinner daily at your hotels on all our Himachal packages. Lunch is on your own, so you can try local food along the way.
Are prices the same at Christmas, New Year and festivals?
No. Quoted rates do not apply on Christmas, New Year, long weekends, Holi, Diwali and major festivals. Talk to us directly for those dates.
How do we book, and how much advance do you take?
WhatsApp or call us on +91 73517 07071. A 30% advance of the total package cost confirms your trip, and the balance is due at least 7 days before departure. You deal with us directly — we book the hotels and the driver ourselves.
Can we postpone or cancel?
You can postpone free of charge with at least 30 days' notice, subject to hotel availability. The 30% advance is non-refundable; beyond that, cancellation charges are a percentage of the total package cost, deducted from what you have paid.
