Questions
Jaipur Jaisalmer Jodhpur Udaipur tour package — questions, answered
What is the price of the Jaipur Jaisalmer Jodhpur Udaipur tour package for 6 nights 7 days?
It depends on your hotel category, dates and how many are travelling. WhatsApp or call us on +91 73517 07071 and we will send one all-inclusive price. GST at 5% is extra.
Is 6 nights 7 days enough for Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and Udaipur?
Yes. Jaipur's highlights fit into your arrival day, Jodhpur gets two nights (one each way), Jaisalmer two nights with the dunes, and Udaipur a night and a morning. If you would like more time in Jaipur or Udaipur, add a night.
How long are the drives?
Jaipur to Jodhpur is about 335 km (6 hours), Jodhpur to Jaisalmer and back about 285 km (5 hours) each way, and Jodhpur to Udaipur about 255 km with the Ranakpur stop. Staying in Jodhpur twice means no drive is longer than about six hours.
Can we do the route the other way round?
Yes. We can start in Udaipur and finish in Jaipur — handy if your flights are cheaper that way. The days are the same, just reversed.
Why stay in Jodhpur twice?
Jaisalmer is far out in the desert, and driving straight from there to Udaipur takes around nine hours. Stopping in Jodhpur on the way back splits that into two easy days, gives you time for Umaid Bhawan, and lets you visit the Ranakpur temple on the road to Udaipur.
Is the camel ride included?
The drive to the Sam dunes and dinner at the desert camp are included. Camel and jeep rides are paid on the spot to the operators, so you can choose how long to ride.
Where does the tour start and end?
It starts with pickup at Jaipur airport or railway station and ends with a drop at Udaipur airport or railway station, so you fly or take the train home from Udaipur.
Are meals included?
Yes — breakfast and dinner daily at your hotels, with one dinner at a desert camp on the dunes. Lunch is on your own, so you can try local Rajasthani food along the way.
What is the best time for this tour?
October to March. Days are warm and the desert nights cold from December to February. April to June is extremely hot in Jaisalmer.
Is this tour good for a honeymoon?
Yes — the desert camp and Udaipur's lakes are both favourites with couples. For a slower trip built around couples, see our Rajasthan honeymoon package.
Do you have shorter or longer versions?
Yes. For five nights, choose the Jaipur Jodhpur Udaipur or Jaipur Jaisalmer Jodhpur tour; for more, the Royal Rajasthan tour runs 8 nights.
Are prices the same at festivals?
No. Quoted rates do not apply on Christmas, New Year, long weekends, Holi, Diwali, the Jaisalmer Desert Festival and other major festivals. Talk to us directly for those dates.
Do you have a family or group package for this tour?
Yes. The same private Jaipur Jaisalmer Jodhpur Udaipur tour runs for couples, families and groups. Families of 3 to 6 travel in an Ertiga or Innova Crysta with family or connecting rooms; groups of 7 or more travel in a Tempo Traveller or several cars, with all rooms in the same hotel. The price per person falls as your group grows — send us your headcount for a quote.
Is the tour suitable for children and senior citizens?
Yes. It is a private trip by car, so we set the pace around your family — rest stops on the road, hotels with lifts or ground-floor rooms on request, and simple, freshly cooked meals. Tell us the ages when you enquire and we will plan accordingly.
How do we book, and how much advance do you take?
A 30% advance of the total package cost confirms your trip, and the balance is due at least 7 days before departure. You deal with us directly — we book the hotels and the driver ourselves.
Can we postpone or cancel?
You can postpone free of charge with at least 30 days' notice, subject to hotel availability. The 30% advance is non-refundable; beyond that, cancellation charges are a percentage of the total package cost, deducted from what you have paid.
