Why is there a night in Chandigarh?
Manali to Delhi is about 540 km and 12 to 14 hours. Stopping in Chandigarh splits it into two easier days, with Sukhna Lake and the Rock Garden on your last morning.
Shimla or Manali — which is better for a honeymoon?
Manali is better for snow, adventure and mountain views; Shimla for Mall Road evenings, colonial charm and easy walks. This package gives you both, with more time in Manali.

Will we see snow?
Snow is most likely from December to early March at Solang Valley and Sissu beyond the Atal Tunnel, and in some years at Kufri. It is never guaranteed.
Has it snowed in Manali yet this season?
Yes, up high. The first light snow of the season fell at Rohtang Pass on 6 October 2026 and around the Atal Tunnel on 7 October, while Manali town had rain. Solang Valley usually gets its first snow in December. We update this answer through the season.
Is November good for a Shimla Manali honeymoon?
Yes — it is the best-value month: clear Himalayan views, quiet roads and lower hotel rates. Nights in Manali are freezing, so pack warm, and choose Premium if you want room heating included. Snow is limited to the high slopes.
Is December good for a Shimla Manali honeymoon?
Yes, especially if you hope for snow — it usually reaches Solang Valley during December, though it is never guaranteed. Choose Premium or Luxury for heated rooms. Christmas to New Year is peak week and priced separately.
Is Rohtang Pass included?
No. Rohtang can be arranged when open, usually from around May to November, and needs a permit on a daily quota. Rohtang, Atal Tunnel and Sissu local cab and permit charges are not included.
Is the Atal Tunnel and Sissu visit guaranteed?
It is on the itinerary but always subject to weather and road conditions — heavy snow can close the road. Local cab and permit charges are paid separately.
Which car will we travel in?

How do we book, and how much advance do you take?

Can we postpone or cancel?
You can postpone free of charge with at least 30 days' notice, subject to hotel availability. The 30% advance is non-refundable; beyond that, cancellation charges are a percentage of the total package cost, deducted from what you have paid.
Do prices change with the season?
Yes. Hotel rates in Shimla and Manali change through the year, so contact us with your travel dates for the exact seasonal price. The prices on this page are our starting rates per couple.
