Getting there
How do you reach Gangtok and Pelling?
By air: Bagdogra Airport near Siliguri is the gateway, with direct flights from Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Bengaluru. Darjeeling is about 3–3.5 hours away by road, Gangtok about 4–5 hours.
By train: New Jalpaiguri (NJP) in Siliguri is the main railhead, on direct trains from Delhi and Kolkata.
Getting around: your private car meets you at Bagdogra or NJP. In Sikkim, trips to Tsomgo Lake, Nathula and North Sikkim must use locally registered permit vehicles, as state rules require — we arrange them.
