Day 2: Dehradun to Barkot via Mussoorie - Embracing Mother Nature's Beauty
On this day, you'll journey from Dehradun to Barkot, a scenic drive of about 140 kilometers that takes roughly 5 hours. En route, you'll pass through the captivating hill station of Mussoorie, where you can soak in its colonial charm and relish the awe-inspiring vistas of the Shivalik mountain range. Don't forget to make a pitstop at the refreshing Kempty Falls to recharge before you continue your journey to Barkot. Along the way, you'll catch glimpses of quaint villages, offering you a peek into the local way of life. Once you arrive in Barkot, you'll have the chance to unwind and recharge in the serene surroundings.
Day 3: Trek to Yamunotri - Immersed in Spiritual Serenity
The day kicks off early with a hearty breakfast, followed by a drive to Jankichatti or Phoolchatti (45 kilometers). From there, you'll begin your trek to Yamunotri, covering a distance of 6 kilometers on foot, or you can choose to ride a horse or doli (palanquin) at your own cost. Upon reaching, take a dip in the warm waters of Surya Kund (Hot Spring) and bask in the divine presence of "Yamunaji." Afterward, you'll trek back to Jankichatti and return to Barkot for an overnight stay following a satisfying dinner.

After a morning of relaxation and breakfast, it's time to hit the road to Uttarkashi.
